I have Premium and I can play songs on shuffle but if I'm in my liked songs I can't just select a song to play. It goes for most other Playlists as well.

Hey there,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

You should be able to pick and play on your Liked Songs playlist if you're on Premium. This applies to other playlists you've created as well. So if you're having issues with this, we suggest you log out and log in twice in a row onto your Spotify account. This could sound a little bit odd, but this way the system will force a resync of your account in general.

If the above doesn't do the trick, we'd like to gather some additional info. Please send us:

The make/model and OS of the affected device.
The Spotify version you're running there.
Does this happen across all your devices?

Not in offline mode. Can't select songs individually in playlists have to resort to using queues or shuffle. Video here https://youtube.com/shorts/ZupKpgbZkrM?si=rpCTXWQ26haU7PDy with screen tap and pointer location enabled to see the non -responsivness of it.

Phone model is Google 7 Pro.

Android version is 15

Spotify version is 9.0.76.1126 but it was happening in a previous version as well tried to update to see if that would fix it.

Going to try a clean install to see if that fixes it. Will update if it does or not.

Update: clean install seems to have resolved this issue but this shouldn't really be necessary .. come on

This is a bigger problem with the app. I've been dealing with the same issues for months and cannot be re-downloading the app every time something goes wrong. Also, we need real people to be managing shuffled Playlist, AI cannot curate a playlist.
