My Question or Issue

Just got a BYD Seagull Car and dowloaded Spotify onto the infotainment tablet. Logged in and it works great and even allows me to download playlists and song, however my issue is that it doesn't run in the background. Whenever I exit to app the music stops. I went into the application settings and browsed through all the options and none of them were for allowing Spotify to run in the background while another music app works fine in the background. Any help or guidance in solving this issue is appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community.

We'd suggest double-checking that Spotify has the permissions to run in the background within the settings of the device itself.

It's also a good idea to check the device's battery settings and make sure that Spotify is set as an exception, if you're using the battery optimization option.
