Last week we had a three day outage from Virgin Wifi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Changes in the house since.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Our router has a new name.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have installed a new Chromecast.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Since then all other devices are back up and running with no problem. And Google home responds to voice commands for everything else&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Our only issue is Spotify.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Spotify(or Google home) will no longer play our playlists via a voice command.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have one routine that plays music when we switch some lights.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This music was one of our playlists. Now it is playing something else&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But it will play other music and connect to radio (BBC etc) when asked by voice&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My wife and I have a duo account.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Both run Android on our phones&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;One plus Nord and a Pixel 8a&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So far we have&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Unlinked our accounts. &lt;P&gt;We understand you have a Routine, but do voice commands work if you ask Google Home to play the playlist directly without the Routine? Can you play songs or albums?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Since you mentioned there was an outage on your internet, we suggest you make sure your router is running its latest software and is plugged in. If you're not sure how to do this, you can contact your internet provider to get more info on the matter. You can also try:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Restarting your router to see how it goes.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Make sure your Google device(s) is running its &lt;A href="https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/7124014?hl=en" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;latest firmware&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/A&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you don't notice any changes, we'd like to gather some additional info. Please send us:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;The make/model of your Chromecast.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Does this happen when connecting the Chromecast to a different network? If possible, you can create a hotspot on your phone and connect both devices to it.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;We understand this is happening while trying to play content on your Chromecast. Do you have more than one Google device? Does this happen on all your Google devices/speakers? It'd be awesome if you could clarify the specific devices on which this is happening.&lt;/LI&gt;

This is happening across all devices.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have&lt;BR /&gt;3 Chromecast.&lt;BR /&gt;3 Nest audio.&lt;BR /&gt;2 Google home mini.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When I or my wife ask any of the devices to play any of our Spotify playlists. It plays something completely different.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It is like the playlists are not linked to our accounts&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;All devices have been reset. If not, we'd recommend following the steps mentioned in&lt;A href="https://support.spotify.com/article/spotify-on-google-devices/" target="_blank"&gt;&amp;nbsp;this article&lt;/A&gt; to see if it makes any difference. It's also worth setting Spotify as default with the steps mentioned there as well.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope this helps, we'll be on the lookout.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;On another note, we'd suggest you make sure in the future both the app and your Google device are up-to-date. In the meantime, we recommend you use &lt;A href="https://support.spotify.com/article/spotify-connect/" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Spotify Connect&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/A&gt; to play content on your Google devices.
