Audio stops working when switching apps

So Im currently having a rather weird bug (?) with my Spotify lately.

When listening to Music on my Phone (Pixel 7, all current updates) and I switch to a different App like Instagram or youtube (or really any app that can play audio) while my Spotify is still playing, the second app plays Audio for ca. 2 seconds until it just cuts out. At this point the music playing will be paused, but the other app is still muted.

Basically if Im listening to music and want to watch eg. Instagram reels, Spotify pauses its Audio, Instagram plays audio for about 2 seconds and then just cuts out.

This weirdly only occurs on one of my headphones. I own a pair of Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro W

Just to be on the same page, have you already performed a clean reinstall of the app on your device? If not, we'd recommend following the steps mentioned in this article to see if it makes any difference.

If the issue persists, would you mind checking on a different device (using your own account and the same headphones) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out.

Lastly, Include in your next response the OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
