You're still connected . . .

How do i stop this notification popping up every time i silence it. I control my music using my phone, so closing the app isn't a solution. I'm fully aware I'm listening on another device because that's my intent.

In case you don't want to see that again, you can try editing or disabling Spotify's notifications from your device's settings > Apps/Notifications. The exact steps to do it vary between devices. Here you can find the steps to do it on Android, and here on iOS.

I was just looking for a solution for this annoying "feature"... Found out that if I long-pressed the notification, a menu popped up. Here i was able to turn off notifications from Spotify. It said: "This App will no longer send you notifications", so it might be all notifications from the app... Good enough for me!

BTW.: I got one more notification after that, but it seems to have stopped now 🙂
