My Question or Issue

In the past few days songs have started skipping and jumping to the next song. I saw that there seems to be an issue with songs skipping at around 10 seconds on other systems. This is different - the timing is completely random. Some songs are no problem at all. Then it's in the first second or two. Then it's after two minutes.

This is very annoying that we pay this kind of money for. Please fix it soon.

Thanks for reaching out via the Community and let's investigate this skipping behavior together.

I see that you've posted that your plan is Family. Just to be on the safe side, could you make sure that it's only you that's using your Spotify account? For example, if you're using a speaker in the family and your account is somehow linked, make sure that no one else is accidentally skipping the music at random times. For this I recommend that you log out everywhere from the Account Page > Security and privacy > Sign out everywhere.

If there's no difference and this happens on a particular device, I suggest further troubleshooting such as a clean reinstall (if you've not tried this step already). You can check the steps here.

As this could also be a connection issue, it would be great if you could even test with a different internet connection, as well as on another device with your account.
