In-car Dash App keeps stopping

My Question or Issue

Over past 3 months i start to play Spotify and is randomly pauses/Stops and then crashes, I have cleared Cache and updated but this continues to do this.
It also keeps asking me to allow to run in background which i do and after a couple of journeys it asks again and again.
I have BMW 3 series with touchscreen dash (Android OS) which has Spotify installed from google play store.

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

Have you tried removing the connection to the car and re-linking it again to see if it would help? If possible, ask someone (a friend or a relative would do) to log in to their account in the car to see if the issue would still occur.

If you have Spotify on your mobile phone, could you check if the issue would still occur when you connect it to the car via Bluetooth?
