Hello,

I have been having troubles when playing video on Spotify, normally with podcasts.

The screen options such play, rewind, etc don't disappear (only in full screen mode) and the screen enters in rest mode (like being in audio mode). Is there any feature that change and I need to activate?

Hey @PolkaDotGirl

I would suggest you to clear cache, update the application once in case you are not on latest version. Also, turn off all the data saving settings with data, video playback, etc.

This can significantly improve application performance, additionally have you tried this on desktop application and mobile app vice versa, to see if the issue persist on all devices?

Hello Tanya, in fact this happens only in my device since I tried browser with my account. It was ok until the end of February.

Apologies for the late reply.

Did you notice this after a recent OS/Spotify update? Could you check if the same behavior occurs with music videos too? If you're using any battery optimization settings, make sure Spotify is excluded. You can also temporarily toggle them off to see if that helps.
