My Question or Issue

See image below. The pause button is clearly in the wrong spot. Closing the Start A Blend advertisement restores the pause button location.

Thanks for reporting this behavior and welcome to the Community!

Since the screenshot shows that you're connected to an external device, could you confirm if the same thing happens regardless and when playback is directly from the phone?

The behavior with the pause button's location changing could be a temporary issue caused by corrupted cache, so I recommend giving Spotify a clean reinstall with the steps here in case you've not already done so. It helps resolve different issues and it's worth giving it a try.
