My Question or Issue

How to turn off the useless feature of Spotify alarm song overwriting the currently active content in the app?

After I turn off the alarm I want to continue listening to my playlist instead of the alarm song.

As of now, if you are using Spotify as the source for alarm sound, it will override the main app's now playing content. This is because when the alarm uses that song, it goes through Spotify to check whether you can access the content or not. Because the authorization/authentication is done based on your linked account, the connected devices also update simultaneously.
