Music stops when opening certain apps

Hi,

Everything was fine, until recently. There are games that pause the music. Unpausing doesn't work, reinstall, relogin aswell, I've tried everything in settings both Spotify and phone

In general, the Android OS ensures there's only one app playing sound through an audio stream at a time via something called audio focus.

What are some of the apps that seem to be causing this? Have you checked if muting them alleviates the issue?

Something else I'd recommend is making sure Spotify is allowed to run in the background & isn't being restricted by your battery settings. It'd be great if you could also let us know when you first noticed this behavior (for example, after a recent OS or app update).
