No sound when sharing to instagram

My apps are synced and up to date. Everyone can do this but me 🫠 why can't my phone do this... I'm annoyed lol I share music all the time

Hey @Kaykay02, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Can you try a clean reinstall of the Spotify app following these steps? It’s more thorough than a simple reinstall. I would also recommend reinstalling the Instagram app and let me know if that makes a difference.

If you’re still having trouble, can you let me know if this happens with any song that you share, or just a certain one?

This didn't work... I even did the same for Instagram but still nothing. I love sharing music I just wish others could hear it like I can when other people share it

Thanks for getting back to me. Can you share with me the make and model of the device you’re using, as well as the Spotify version you’re currently running so I can take a closer look on my end.

In the meantime, a user has reported this workaround on this thread - can you give this a try and let me know if that makes a difference.

That workaround I've done before but it's exhausting haha I just want to do it once and be done hahaha my friends have done it but usually they have iphones 🙄
