Equaliser and Lockscreen issues on Galaxy S4/4.2

Hi There

I recently switched to Android, I have a Galaxy S4 with JB 4.2. I have noticed two issues:

1) The lock screen controls are really inconsistent, they frequently disappear.

2) The equaliser is a bit flaky. It really makes music sound better, but it also dramatically lowers the volume. Also, it seems the equaliser cuts out and stops working after a few minutes. If I go into settings, music effects then it magically starts working again.

Anyone got any ideas? After the assorted bugs on iOS I'm disappointed the Android version seems just as flaky!

Both of these are known issues remaining to be fixed. Turning off the equaliser is probably the best option at the moment 😞
