One UI 3.1

My Question or Issue

Autoplay has been working randomly for the past 5 years. Example, I have a playlist made by me and after the last song on the list ends it used to sometimes create a "new" playlist and just continue playing. Now it just restarts the playlist made by me.

Issue has been fixed temporarily by sometimes updating, but it comes back after about 5 hours of a few days of use. I have reinstalled the android app and it came back after 1 day. The issue is both in win 10 app and android app. I reinstalled android app and the windows app autoplay started working too. I have made sure that both have autoplay on.

I love the feature, I really want it to work.

Hey @Vi5,

Thanks for reaching out about this. Could you check if 'Repeat' is on for the playlists that start over?

This is a small thing that could fully explain the randomness of the issue and it being present across multiple platforms.

Let us know if it's the culprit 🙂 We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

This was the answer. Thank you. I switch between looping songs quite often. I was not aware one of the options was looping playlist or album. I just checked autoplay was on and thought it would be enough.

I have googled it quite many times, this was never 1 of the options. I hope this thread stays up. Maybe if one switches autoplay on and off the loop playlist button could read what it does as a pop up tutorial style since it contradicts the autoplay option I just turned on.
