My Question or Issue

i cant enter the wrapped party because when i try to enter , the app blocks in a still-load screen.

It doesn't work in anyway I try to open it and if I I uninstall and reinstall it works once. Seems like a joke.

I can't join Spotify Party. It closes with "Something went wrong".

Anytime I try to join a wrapped party it tells me “The host has ended the party.”

If i want to host a wrapped party, it keeps loading forever, but if i reinstall the app it works 1 time. Is this a known bug? 3 of my friends have it to.

My wrapped party is gets stuck on a loading screen if tried to open consequently blocking me from being able to use that feature, kinda disappointing

Hello @inmyært!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with this. Can you try having a clean reinstall of the Spotify app to see if that does the trick? Just follow these steps.

I had the same issue and just did that, but it still just infinitely loads. I've reinstalled 3 times so I don't think that will work

Hey there folks,

Thanks for all your replies and for the info shared.

If the app is crashing when trying to create a Wrapped party from the home app, try to open it by going to the dedicated Wrapped subfeed. Another option is trying to search the term “Wrapped Party” in the Spotify search bar to see if you notice any difference.

As I said, I've tried the opening it by going to the wrapped subfeed and by searching the term "Wrapped Party" in the spotify search bar:

Hi! Whenever I try to host or join a Wrapped Party, I just get stuck on the loading screen forever. I have checked my internet connection and even tried it on other WiFi networks. I've updated the app, and deleted my cache. It still gets stuck. What can I do?

No it doesn't work either. I tried to open it from browser, normally, using the Spotify search and other things but nothing...

I (and the others with this problem) will appreciate if this issue can be solved before the wrapped event finish.

I'm writing this to everyone else with this problem, because I'm not confident spotify will have this fixed before the wrapped event ends.

You can use Wrapped Party 1 time if you delete the spotify app (on your phone), then redownload it from the app store. After logging back in it will let you click into and start a Wrapped Party as normal. This will only work once and then you'll have to delete and reload the app again if you want to do another one. Anyways, that's the best option it looks like we've got.

We'd like to look into this a bit closer and report it to our tech folks, so it'd be great if you can share the following info:

The make and model of the device this is happening on.
The Spotify version you're currently running - here are the steps on how to find it.
Where you're trying to access Wrapped Party from - the Wrapped stories, Home/Made for You feed or a link.

Since we weren't able to reproduce the issue, it'd be really helpful if you can send us a screenshot of what it looks like on your end so we can check.

Bro the same exact thing is happening to me, I'd like it to get fixed quite soon because one of my friendships was almost ruined by this problem.
