Device: Samsung Galaxy s23u (One Ul 8, Android 16) Issue: Incorrect status bar handling on Now Playing screen

Details: Status bar remains visible as a solid colored area and does not integrate with edge-to-edge layout. Other app screens behave correctly.

Just to make sure we've covered all the basics, would you mind confirming if you've already performed a clean reinstall of the app? If not, we'd recommend following the steps mentioned in this article to see if it makes any difference.

If the issue persists, would you mind checking on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out.

Lastly, include in your next response the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating it.

full reinstallation did not help, I am a beta tester of Spotify in Google play, so the version of the app is 9.1.12.222 However, I took another device that does not have a Spotify beta 9.1.6.1145 (this is the latest version with google play is now without beta) and there the problem persists

We're unable to provide an ETA for a fix at the moment, but we’re regularly looking for opportunities to enhance the user experience for everyone, so your feedback on this is greatly appreciated. In the meantime, make sure you're always running the latest version of Spotify so you don't miss out on any updates.
