Mobile App needs some serious overhaul

Hi,

I've been a Spotify User ever since it was made available in my country, but right now, I'm really tempted to switch to Google Play Music All Access.

And the only reason for that is Spotifys Mobile app. Organizing everything through playlists just isn't very practicle to put it mildly. Look at how the Google play music app works and you know how this should be done!

Give us a real music library, with Artist and Album view!

It baffles me, that this hasn't been done yet. With all this competition going on in the music streaming industry, you should've given your mobile apps an overhaul a long time ago.

The collection feature is going to change things dramatically for the bettter once it is out of beta testing.

Sounds interesting, do you have any more infos about this? or maybe a bigger screenshot of how this looks?

I'm on the beta programme and it does enable us to move away from playlists to an album-based catalogue. The feature is still being refined and I can't really add anything beyond what's in that announcement or I'll be shot, sorry.
