Soundless Playback on 4.4.2

I own a Nexus 5 running Android 4.4.2.

When playing via BT it often occurs that the playback keeps going, but the sound is gone. BT connection seems stable, the playback seems OK, the volume is correct, but still nothing can be heard.

Does anybody have similiar problems?

I noticed this while I was out today. I need to play with it a bit more now I'm home to see what's going on exactly.

Hmmm........now of course it works flawlessly. Have you tried restarting your mobile?

Mhhh. And here I thought. thank god I'm not the only one. 😉

Well I can certainly try restarting, but still this is annoying.
