No Audio Scrubbing In Android

Hi - I've just moved from iOS to Android and a very important and safe feature seems to be missing...audio scrubbing.

I usually use Spotify in my car commuting to work. In iOS, audio scrubbing was both available on the lock screen and through my car's steering wheel controls. In Android Pie neither are these available which means I would have to unlock the phone and access the app to audio scrub...which is neither safe or legal.

Please can someone tell me how to enable it. Or assure me this will be fixed to make this app safe to use when driving.

Hello,

Same issue on my S24 Ultra...The new update seemed to have removed this feature..unfair to say the least. I used to scrub through many songs to find out if it was good, similar to the premium "skip" the song feature.. I am really dissapointed if scrubbing on lock screen and main menu was removed.

In addition to this, as we could not replicate the described behaviour on our end, we wanted to ask you for the following additional details:

How the app has worked before - describe the app behaviour you initially had when you were seeking/ scrubbing the song:
How it works or doesn't work now:
A video recording of the abovementioned behaviour (if possible).

Once we have these, we'd be able to tell you more about this issue. Much appreciated!
