Spotify 20/Party of the year infinite loading

My Question or Issue

I've discovered about the party of the year thing on May 12th, ive got to the app's main page and there it was. I clicked on it, the golden was seal appeared and i waited, the loading screen showed up and again i waited 3 mins in the sound started but the wheel was still loading, and it kept that up indefinitely. This happened on May 12 first, then Yesterday may 13, including today May 14th. Same loading loop. I've reinstalled the app and clean reinstalled it,

We appreciate the troubleshooting you've done so far. To continue checking on this, would you mind checking with a different network connection to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can use your mobile data or a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Also, if the issue persists, would you mind checking on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? You can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out in case you don't have a different device available.

Hello, I have the exact same problem and I have tried on different devices and different networks with the exact same result. I've also tried clearing cache and data, even uninstalling and reinstalling spotify but I still get stuck on the loading screen.

Before we dive deeper into why this may be going on on your ends, could you try going over the steps for a complete clean reinstall as well please? At this time we're trying to figure out if it's specific app clients causing the issue or if this is somehow account-related.

Should the issue remain after the clean reinstall, let us know the following details (or those that are left in case you've sent us some details already):

The make & model of the affected devices:
Their OS versions:
The affected Spotify app versions:

I'm on an iPhone 11, latest phone update and version 9.1.48 on Spotify. I restarted my phone and redownloaded Spotify but it's still not loading up. Wondering how long this is going to take to be fixed or any other alternative methods to fix the situation

Hey @Astroxat and @AE27,

Thanks for joining the thread and letting us know!

If you're able to see the Party of the Year(s) within the app, but attempting to open it just brings up an infinite loading circle, then we'd suggest logging out of your account and back in a couple of times in a row to force a sync. It might also be worth signing out from everywhere under Security and privacy on your account page and logging in again afterwards if you're okay with that.

We'd also recommend checking the following settings as they can sometimes interfere with the app's performance:

Make sure Spotify's granted unrestricted access in any battery optimization settings or apps
Check if Background data/Background App Refresh is enabled
Make sure Data Saver is off

I also experienced the same thing. In my opinion, if you guys wanted to launch this campaign, atleast test it first. This problem happens to many people and it genuinely demotivates me to keep updated on new updates. Plus, theres too many things i have to do in order to open the 20 years thingy and tbh no one has that much of time to reinstall and logout. Do better.

So to update on things tried:

I have a samsung galaxy A55, spotify version 9.1.4.4.2120, android version 16

Ive tried multiple clean installs (even accessed my phone to try and delete the com.spotify file, which didnt exist)

I've signed in and out multiple times

I've tried on wifi vs on data.

I've made sure Spotify's granted unrestricted access in any battery optimization settings or apps

I've ensured if Background data/Background App Refresh is enabled

I've made sure data saving is off

The link to the part of the year is no longer available on my home feed, but if i put the URL into firefox and allow it to open in spotify, it takes me to the page - but continues to do infinite loading

Just to confirm, does this happen on a different device? If possible, you can ask for the mobile device of a relative or a friend to open your account there and check.

On another note, it'd be awesome if you could send us a video recording of this behavior. You can attach the video in your next reply in mp4 format, or upload it to YouTube or Google Drive and make it public.

Note: Be aware this is a public space, so please don't share any personal info on the video you'll send us.

My party is not playing it's just stuck this whole week I've been trying to open it. And yes I've cleared my cache and updated my app uninstall and re installed it so skip that part and provide me a working solution.

I am premium in France. I tried everything : clear cache, update the app, data saver, internet connection, internet connection, signing in and out... And it still don't work.
