Audiobook sound issue

My Question or Issue

This audiobook is not producing any sound. Other audiobooks work normally for me, but this one has no audio output at all. Please investigate the issue. Many thanks. Br, Tina

Clarifying, play button only appears as loading or just doesn't play, while there is no error message. The progress bar doesn't move, but the green animation bars next to the track name are moving as if it's playing. There is no sound coming out as well.

If you haven't tried it yet, we recommend using different internet connections (another Wi-Fi network you haven't used, mobile data or even a mobile hotspot) to see if it makes a difference. Also, it would be worth trying to log in on your account but using a different device, to check if it happens the same.

Just to confirm, is this only happening with this specific audiobook or is it happening with songs from specific playlists/podcasts too?

Lastly, could you record a short video where we can take a better look? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it as an unlisted video to YouTube or upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has all the permissions for anyone to watch it).

We'll be on the lookout for your reply!

Thanks for sharing the video!

As a next step, could you please try the following and let us know how it goes:

Clear the app's cache from Settings and privacy - Data-saving and offline.
Download the audiobook and check if it plays in Offline mode.
Try playing the audiobook on a different device.
