Bluetooth connection is unstanble. It quits after 15 minutes or so. But it offers an option to connect through WIFI. Works perfect till I use my phone in my car and use Android Auto. When I come back home all the Connect options are greyed out. I need to reinstall Spotofy to get it working again.

Second Issue. I downloaded some MP3 files. I made a playlist (local Files enabled) and added the mp3s to the playlist. They remainn greyed out. However when I play the playlist in my car They do play. When I come back home I am still able to play them on my phone but when I try to connect to anaother device the options (Relax) are greyed. After I reainstall I can connect but I cannot play the playlst with the downloaded mp3s

Hey @StevenScholten,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

For the first behavior, would you mind checking if connecting a different mobile device (via Bluetooth) to your Sonoro Relax makes any difference or if the audio drops as well?

For the greyed-out devices after using Android Auto, could you check if your phone and the speakers are on the same Wi-Fi network? Keep in mind that some routers may have 2.4 and 5.0 Ghz signals, so make sure all devices are connected to the same one.

On another note, it's expected that the local files won't play on another device if the audio file is not saved there as it's not being played from the online catalog.

We'll be on the lookout for your response.

Hi Oscar

Thanks a lotfor taking the time. Turns out the bluetooth losing connection seemed to be related to the battery setting. When the screen locks so did the connection. So that is solve.

I will have to look into the Modem setting 2.4 vs 5.0.

The downloaded local files problen is the opposite to what you said. I downloaded to my phone. Added the local files to a play list. They are greyed out. When I sit my car I can play the though Spotify on Androis Auto though.

Hey @StevenScholten,

Thanks for the clarification!

A reinstall wipes the local file index and the files need to be re-added, which explains why they would get fully greyed out.

Aside from this though, if the local files are greyed out on your mobile device but not via Android Auto, this might mean that Spotify isn't recognizing the files as "available" on the mobile device for some reason, even though they're on the device.

I've seen this before and the culprit turned out to be the directory of the files. Make sure it's a folder Spotify can access and that the folder name doesn't have any odd symbols in it. The same goes for the parent /main/ folders this folder is contained in.

Note: Keep in mind that local files will not play on devices where you need to cast your playback. As @OscarDC has mentioned, this is expected behaviour as local files need to be physically present on the device they are being played from.

Hope this helps clear things up! Keep us posted on how things go 🙂
