HTC One Lockscreen Issue

Hello,

I am on HTC One with 4.2.2 + Sense 5.5 official WWE ROM. Totally stock, i mean untouched by third person.

On the lockscreen we can pull up with clock or Music Widget.

If user pull up clock, Phone unlock to screen where the user closed screen. If u user pull up music widget, Phone unlock to music app.

On spotify we cant. If pull up music widget, phone unlock to screen where the user closed screen. Phone must start with spotify if i do that.

Hi @ShadowFax and welcome to the community.

This is a strange issue, however it is most likely an issue regarding HTC's Android firmware, as all Spotify do is implement the lockscreen control API's, and other Android intent actions.

There really isn't any way an app could override lockscreen controls for the default lockscreen on an unrooted device, unless they fired out standard intents (which they probably don't).
