Hi. Was download over 2g/3g turned off while you were synching at home? I'm just thinking that if it wasn't disabled and, if your device's wifi isn't set to always keep wifi on during sleep then it would have switched to downloading over mobile data when it went to spleep.

Hi,

I've just got a Nexus 5 with KitKat 4 and this morning kicked quite a few playlist downloads off while on my home WiFi so I could listen to them at work. I had the app set to not down load over 3G so thought that once I'd leave the house it would stop downloading but a couple of hours after being in work, and therefore on 3G, I got a text from my phone supplier saying I'd used my data allowance.

Spotify had guzzled up approx 700Mb in a few hours and now I'm left with nothing until 14th March !

I've searched the forum and there was a known problem but the last entries were from this time last year. Is this still an issue and how do I stop it in the future?

Cheers

PS can I get any compensation from Spotify?!?!?
