Bluetooth playback ALMOST perfect

Hi..

Im using spotify on my Samsung Galaxy S4 to play music in my car. Track Info works, prev track/next track/play/pause works, but ELAPSED TIME and TRACKSEEK (fastforward or fastrewind) does not. Same goes for different kinds of headsets I've tried - prev/next/play/pause works, but trackseek does not.

This has not always been the case. Somewhere along the road, these features disappeared (3-5 spotify versions ago perhaps)

Anyone got any experience trying to fix this?

Im using:

Cell. Samsung Galaxy S4 rooted with CYANOGENMOD 11, Android 4.4.2 Kitkat

Car: Nissan Leaf 2013

Spotify: v 0.7.6.357

Ive tried Xposed Framework + Spotify-metadata-modulethingy - did not change anything.

The app doesn't offer trackseek so I don't know how it could be added by bluetooth. If it worked before then it's more likely to be down to the OS I'd have thought?

It kinda does .. by the help of your fingertip on the progressbar 🙂

Track Seek by carstereo was applied by longpressing the NextTrack-button.

It's not the os, because it works perfectly with apollo, wimp and others. It DID work with spotify, but no longer.

Anyways;
I tried lots of ROMS for my S4 to solve this issue .. nothing helped.

Ended up switching to Google Play Music to have it my way.
