App freezing on mobile data

Hi! My phone does well when I play music on Spotify via my wifi in any condition and state of screen and whole device. Problem starts when I go outside. It plays a few songs normally (1-3 songs), even when screen turns off, but on next song it plays just a fragment of it and then freezes, with no response in-app, but I'm stil able to quit to launcher and then force closing. After that it won't work even on wifi unless I reboot whole device.

Any help will be appreciated

latest Spotify ver., SGS2 (gt-i9100) on KitKat 4.4.2

Is that a custom ROM? Does it work normally if you go back to the stock ROM?

It's pure AOSP ROM, without any singe mod (AOKP nor CMod). So basically you can say it's custom, but in fact it isn't. It's the purest of pure ROMs available for this model. every other audio app works great, even when using any sort of internet connections (such as SoundCloud)

All the same, Spotify won't support a custom ROM and it would be interesting to know if you get the same behaviour with the stock ROM.

Stock ROM doesn't help, but for real, what is to support on stock android compiled from source? All things needed for compatibility are ported from stock Samsung's ROM, and even w/out those components ported everything but Spotify works well (maybe even better). On my device app just doesn't work, despite of ROM it's running on (tried original Samsung ROM, SuperNexus, CM, NeatROM, AOKP, Carbon and even clean source I compiled myself and none of them made this thing working).

I will be thankful to someone who could just help without telling me about OS support. Nothing is impossible, including making the app that will just work as it should, it's only matter of will and work.

I have exactly the same problem.

I am new user and i loved Spotify but firts time today i used mobile app. and had big dissapointment after perfect few days as an user.

I am using also AOSP Rom , Biftor Rom KK 4.4.2

And i reliazed it is happening when connection get slower. Then it stucks forever. Only solution reboot.
