queue isnt resetting like it used to

Hi guys, before the latest version if I selected a playlist im sure it would reset my queue but would retain hard added tracks. Tonight I noticed that the queue seems to be cumulating/duplicating my choices. I.e chose shuffle playlist1 and then again, it then duplicates the tracks. Sure it didnt used to behave this way. Can anyone confirm?

As a result my play queue is huge and I cant quickly reset it due to still having no 'reset queue' button, how can I reset it without manualky skipping 500+ tracks?

I just tried to reproduce that by using the shuffle play button on several playlists and, each time, the queue was replaced so I'm not sure what's going on. Could you reinstall the spotify app and see how things go? That will also clear the queue for you 🙂

Yeh I just tried restarting, and then when I went back to my music tracks and selected shuffle all reset. Odd. I mustv done something odd, been playing around trying to familiarise with the changes so defo user error 🙂

Thanks for quick help n response. Im actually liking this latest update, lots of comments re. Starred tracks? Reckon this confusion couldve been avoided with a nice tutorial intro but still wouldnt pls everyone I guess.
