Device not showing up on windows 8.1, also songs wont sync on phone over Wi-Fi

Pc has OS 8.1 pro, and my phone is LG Optimus G Pro with android version 4.1.2

I have been on the forums for awhile and have tried every solution found. ranging from deleting all info from phone, to turning off my firewall and anti-virus.

Any help would be grateful

Rather than turning off the firewall can you try just adding the exceptions in. Can you also check any firewall on your router as well as making sure UPnP is enabled?

Tried that, all exceptions added and still to no prevail.

Did you check that UPnP was enabled in your router settings?

I did, it shows everything is on

Firewall = windows

Anti-virus = Avast
