Whenever I open the app on my phone, it tells me i'm offline and that I need to connect to the internet, even though I'm connected to my wi-fi. There is nothing wrong with my connection, as I can use all other online functions of my phone without any issues. Spotify refuses to connect to the internet, and the only thing that resolves it is if I turn my phone off and on again - once the phone reboots it seems to connect fine.
