Spotify does not work on xperia z2?

Hi, I just bought an xperia z2 and spotify will not work at all, it just crashes as soon as it opens, one time it said it cannot find an SD card which is a lie because it is clearly showing up on my phone. I have reinstalled it as well.

Is anyone else having troubles like this?

Does removing your SD card, then installing Spotify make any difference?

Yes I have the same problem. It just freezes and doesn't fully load at all. I think it is blocked by the Sony Music streaming software to be honest but don't know to be sure and want a solution myself.
