since I install android last update 4.4.2 n my xperia z, spotify doesn't work anymore! I tried to reinstall it but it don't change anything!

I had the same prob on my Xperia Z, along with an anoying pop-up saying "Unfortunately, android.process.media has stopped". Luckily, I managed to solve this by opening Settings -> Apps -> Swype to 'All' -> Find "External Storage" and clear cache -> restart

i tried too to reinstall......doesnt work i ve got a black screen .....and pay 9.99 euros for nothing!!!!!

Try removing the external SD card then reinstalling.

I was having the same problem for almost a week after update, going back and forth with spotify trying to diagnose, when I found this thread and cleared the external cache. Started working again immediately after. THANK YOU.
