Spotify stops when sending a whatsapp message.

Just like the title says.. I own a Samsung Galaxy S4. As soon as I listen to a Spotify song (even offline available ones) and I send a whatsapp message my Spotify stops for a second or two playing.. What could this mean? Is my Spotify or my whatsapp draining so much of my RAM or storage that it slows down to a point it isn't possible to play anymore? What can I do? Thanks a lot, Koen.

It's all tied to the way spotify ducks when notifications are received and is something they're working on. You could try turning off whatsapp notifications to see if that helps.

Doesnt work, even on incoming messages the music pauses....
*maybe some bad english but i know your dutch is even worse;)*

Yeah, I expect they'll fix this in a future release and probably cause problems for folk who use Google Maps or something 🙂
