[Android] Synced local files not playing any audio

I'm running the most recent versions of Spotify on my Android (Galaxy S4) and OS X, they're both on the same wifi network and in my downloaded playlist on my phone i've got some local files which play just fine on desktop, but when selected in the Android app they appear to play (the progress bar moves and counts) but there is no audio, touching anything like the audio bar causes the song to go back to 0:00 but still no sound. It doesn't happen on every local file and other files of the same encoding type work just fine in the app 😞

Any ideas?

It's quite possible that the specific files are encoded in some way which stops them playing on android. Have you tried re-encoding one of them to see if it then plays? What happens if you try playing them on android using the stock music player?
