I need a hint (premium user): in my home WLAN I do have a lot of lags and time outs.

In my office wlan I don't have any lags or time outs.

Are there any recommended WLAN settings I could try on my home WLAN router?

Can you try a speedtest.net report shre the report here?

Is it all the time or intermittent? What type of brooadband do you have and router make/model using?

My connection to the Internet is DSL, I don't have any Internet issues at all, in spite of using Spotify.

Doesn't look like that's an issue. Can you try a vpn such as tunnel bear (from play store) to connect to the Internet and then try streaming using Spotify? It may be some throttling your isp is doing.

Also, how about if you use the desktop app or web player on your home computer?

I will try this. Mostly the lags / time outs and even crashes appear when browsing / searching playlist or titles etc. Probably it's simply a software bug (which can be annoying, because the lags happen every few minutes)
