Connect (android) cant find my PC

I looked for similar posts but they all say my PC cant connect to phone. Spotify on my PC shows my phone and I am completely synced. But my computer is not showing up on my Android.

Hi,

Connect for Desktop is still on a roll out which is why it may not be functioning properly for you, the mobile devices roll-out is now complete.

Hi,

I am having the same problem. No desktop client will show up on my mobile device.

I have tested with these versions:

Latest Android application available

PC client: 0.9.14.13.gba5645ad

Mac client: 0.9.14.13.gba5645ad

Any ideas on what to do?

Reports say it now works with the new desktop beta build if you fancy giving that a go:

I had used it once and then found it wasn't working until I realised my phone was set to Offline Mode. All working again now without the need for the Beta.

Your computer cannot detect your Android, it might be caused by various reasons, such as USB cable, USB port broken, USB debugging mode not enabled etc. Please check the causes in this article about how to connect Android to PC.
