Spotify constant crashes Android

When i try to start the app it just goes direcly to "Spotify have unfortunately stopped" and thats it.

Tried to reinstall several times but to noe use.

Running og an Sony X1 updated android version.

Could you confirm your android version (from settings/about) and the spotify version? Did it work before and, if so, did you make any changes which could be causing this?

Edit: Formated the SD card and things are looking good 🙂
It seems like the problem is that I can't delete the folder android\data\com.spotify.music in the SD folder. I seems like it's get deleted but then i restart my phone and it's right back.

I'm having exactly the same problem. How did you format the SD card?

You can do it either your phone or the PC. However do make sure to backup the contents to a computer first as it will wipe everything from the SD card includingpictures etc.

You can later restore these back to the SD card.
