Track not available.

I have gotten a new phone today. I installed Spotify just to find that most of my tracks aren't available. There is no reason for this because it works just fine on my old phone. I reinstalled at least 10 times, I restarted my phone, I did everything and nothing is working. Can someone here help me?

Which phone did you get? Can you try a reinstallation based on the guide in my signature?

What do you mean by "tracks not available"? Have you had them on a previous device? Are they local files you've synced?

Sorry for the questions, just need to understand the situation a bit more.

All the music worked fine before, on my old phone. When you tap on the song it just said it wasn't available. It was for over 70% of my songs. I hit available offline though, and it downloaded everything fine. So I guess it's an issue with streaming. They weren't on my phone before.

Do are these local files you have synced to your phone?

Can you try a clean install based on the guide in my signature?

I had an issue when I didn't have the tracks downloaded. It works fine now.

When I reinstalled I deleted the app and removed the SD data. But now since I downloaded the music onto my phone I can play it fine.

I have got about the same problem, my phone is a htc one m7.

My wife shares tracks with me which she can find in spotify, but when i try to open them from my inbox spotify says that "this number is not available". I have got that problem with a lot of tracks, when i search for those tracks i can't find them or i get a tribute...

What can i do to solve this? I tried the clean uninstall from your troubleshooting!

I recommend you contact Spotify Support using the form here.

You will get an automated reply at first, however if you need to chase them just reply to the email as it does get monitored.
