Hi I am a premium subscriber. I have bought a new generation Kindle Fire HD for my daughter, and the spotify app is 'not compatible with [my] device'. I am extremely disappointed: it was compatible with the previous generation. Is this being looked at? Thanks.

Is that what the kindle app store is saying? What if you download it from m.spotify.com

Yes, that's what the appstore says. I tried the m.spotify route too, same problem... I spoke to amazon customer services, who said that spotify had't updated their app in time for the launch of the 4th gen. So I'm hoping there will be an update very soon. If anyone knows anything about this, please post!

Ah OK. We don't tend to get notification of when a new release is about to happen until it does roll out. Sorry to say that it may be a case of wait or possibly use the contact form here to see if anyone can give you some advice.

Having the same problem--does anyone know how long it usually takes for software to update to new a OS?
