Bluetooth stutter- only sound equaliser

Hi, I get several bluetooth stutters a minute but only when the spotify app sound equaliser is switched on.

Once its off all of my downloaded playlists play fine in the car (alpine headunit).

The annoying thing that the equaliser makes the sound and treble better in the car for me.

I have wiped my nexus 7 (2012) and gone back to stock several times before I found out what was causing this stuttering. Haven't rooted it yet to go back to previous android versions e.g. 4.1 or 4.2 , but thats the next thing to try.

Anybody else had this issue, or have any ideas?

What's the equalizer app you are using? Have you tried a different one?

Might also be worth a clean install as detailed in the guide linked in my signature.

Just the default spotify one. Tried a clean install of spotify. Are there other equalisers which work with spotify that are as good as?

There are several on the play store. If you're rooted the viper4android is what i use

Try going into your Bluetooth settings, editing the connection and disabling contact sharing.
