Offline cache not getting deleted

Hello,

I have a Premium account. When I select songs to be synchronized on my HTC Desire S for offline playing, they get synced and everything is working fine. When I add some new songs they get synced too. But when I deselect songs which I do not longer want offline on my phone or songs which I want to delete because of 'out-of-storage' on the SD card, my Spottily desktop marks them as no longer available offline, they are in fact no longer available on my htc BUT they are still there on the SD card.

The only way to get rid off 'old' music, is to clear the complete cache using the advanced menu, and then afterwards re-sync all songs which I still want to be available. That means when I want to free up some space I need to re-sync +1 gb of music ?

Is this a bug or is there a reasonable explanation ?
