Spotify keeps downloading nothing

I have recently done a factory reset on my phone. Then it started to malfunction. At first it re-downloaded my offline playlists every time I started up spotify. People recommended a clean install (I did this, even formatted the SD card). However, now Spotify is just continuously downloading nothing. The "Downloading" notification will pop up every few minutes but it will disappear immediately and there will be no songs added to the playlists. This on itself is not a big issue, but it is draining my battery very fast (I checked on the battery page in settings and it is using more than my system).

Is there a known fix for this problem?

Phone Specs:

Model: Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300)

Android: 4.3.1

CyanogenMod: 10.2.0-i9300

Kernel vers.: 3.0.64-CM-gd6f2f4a

As you can see I am running CM mod.

I hope you guys can help me with this, I am getting tired of recharging my phone all the time.

Hi there! I recommend reaching out directly to Spotify Support. They can be reached through their Twitter Page @SpotifyCares or through the online contact form.

Make sure to check your inbox and junk folder for an email from Spotify. Once you get it, make sure to reply back right away, even if it says it's from a "no-reply" email.
