Headphone error

Hello,

I have a nexus 4. When I plug in my headphones to listen to spotify, goodle's speak-to-dial starts up and randomly comes on over and over again. but only when the headphones are plugged in. It seems to only happen when I am out and about London and not near to my wi-fi at home as well.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Sounds like you have some app set to automatically open up when headphones are plugged in. Do you have any automation apps installed like tasker at all?

Random thought. Do you have the Google search widget on your home screen? Can you try removing it?

Hi Daniel,

Sorry for the delayed response. The problem seems to have rectified itself for now. I restarted my phone, ended the Spotify and the google text to speak processes before restarting and opening Spotify. But I have not checked if these were what stopped the problem.
