Unable to sync local files with android

I hav ebaout 60 local files that I have been successful in adding to spotify on the windows computer... but when I go to my playlist, and select the "Available Offline" button, those files do not sync on the phone. I have even tried making a playlist of just those media files and then trying to make it available offline on the phone and it does not work there either.

I have tried removing all files associated with Spotify and redownloading it again... still did not help.

I used to be able to have these Sync... and i am not sure as to why I cannot any longer. My mobile version is 1.6.0.952.

Can you see you device under "Devices" on the left of the Spotify desktop client?

Peter it does not show up there...... I know the phone sees the Spotify on the computer as it wants to control it on the computer... but the computer does not see the phone....

Both the computer and the phone are on the same Wifi Network.

Weird... how do i get the spotify program to see the phone???

Windows firewall. Make sure it's not blocking incoming /outgoing connections against the Spotify application.

Yeah I've had that happen to me. Basically it won't sync unless it's listed under the devices section.
