Hello, i have been using spotify premium for some time now, but since recently i'm having trouble. Whenever i go online (doesn't matter wich network im in ) spotify crashes instantly and i have to turn my wifi off, otherwise theres no way for me to acces spotify. i have a samsung galaxy s 2 with Android 4.0. I tried to reinstall spotify, but the same problem forms every time. Is there anyone with a solution?

Hi.

The app from the Play store does not support Android 4.0 properly. Download and install the Android preview release over your existing installation: http://www.spotify.com/download/previews/

Hi,

This problem still exist in the preview release (at least still in the one that was released on April 19, according to the spotify blog)

To be more precise, what happens is whenever the device connects or lost its connection (IE 3G -> Wifi, WiFi -> 3G, 3G -> No connection and so on) the playback stops. It sometimes can be resumed, but sometimes it also fails.

The simplest way is to use it in offline mode for now I guess.

Oh, OK. From the original description it sounded like you had the constant immediate crash to launcher issue that was known as a problem with the old app on ICS.

Looks like this is going to work for me, I just downloaded the version you advised.

Also a whole new interface I see, looking good even tough I liked the old one better 😕

Yep that's exactly what I encounter, except it only pauses the playback. However, sometime the application founds to be completely unusable (basically nothing is rendered anymore, and everything stays perfectly white) but I think that is a separated problem, since it also occurs when using the offline mode.
