Android App can't run on the background

Spotify crashes whenever I try to use any other app, Waze, Facebook Messenger, Google Navigation. It stops playing, and reboots.

The problem is, it didn't use to do that when I first installed it, I was able to do any other activity while listening to music.

I've already look for an answer here, and it seems that they had the same issue with an update around June 2013, can't believe it's happening again.

It's really annoying, how can I fix it?

I have a two week old Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Slim.

I'm using Spotify 1.6.0.952

and Android 4.3

Hi there! I recommend reaching out directly to Spotify Support. They can be reached through their Twitter Page @SpotifyCares or through the online contact form.

Make sure to check your inbox and junk folder for an email from Spotify. Once you get it, make sure to reply back right away, even if it says it's from a "no-reply" email.

Can you try a clean install as part the steps in the troubleshooting guide at the top of the forum?
