Cannot download songs.

Spotify was working fine until a couple of days ago when it stopped downloading songs. My internet connection is fine because I can play songs but when I hit the button to keep for off line use... It just sits there with a circle revolving but no progress. I have tried reinstalling Spotify and restarting the phone. Please help...

It seems to be an intermittent problem. Sometimes downloading works sometimes it doesn't.

Hi. Can you confirm you phone, Android version and Spotify version?

How much free space so you currently have on your phone storage and sd card? Make sure when doing a clean install you follow the steps in the troubleshooting guide at the top of this forum.

Nexus 4, Android 4.4.4, Spotify 1.7.0.830, I have over 5 GB of free space.

Where is the trouble shooting guide? Why is there no link from the app? I have tried reinstalling 3 times. Removing the cache before hand... This version of Spotify seems to be acting differently to the old version.

Is it possible that you've reached the limit of 3.333 offline tracks per device?
