App not available in Play Store

Hi,

I live in Portugal and I have dowloaded the Spotify app manually from m.spotify.com. I want to install it from the Play store so I can use the auto-update feature, but it won't let me. It says "This item isn't available in your country". Any idea what this could be?

Where did you buy the phone? Are you rooted and using a custom ROM? Where is your registered billing address/Country in wallet.google.com?

Try following the below guide to ensure your wallet is registered to your country. If you do this then try and download a free app it should force the Play Store to now identify you in your correct country.

If still not working just google 'Play Store Chnage Country' and follow some of the many hits.

Thank you, the problem was with the billing/home address, but I also added my portuguese credit card to google wallet. I'm not sure which one of the two did the trick since it didn't work at once. I found out from another forum that I had to wait for several hours before the changes took effect and I could see the Spotify app in the Play store.
