I got excited to see that I can FINALLY search for offline songs (aka have my music not treated like a second class citizen) when lo and behold, it doesn't even play. Not even under artists with a mix between offline material and Spotify's catalogue. Won't play once.

Also, my offline playlist keeps being erased every few days. Downloading 10 GB worth of music is no laughing matter.

Spotify, what the hell happened?

I too am suffering from this latest Android update. I had to install a "new" version on my phone by force - which I had no intention or desire to do while I was travelling, so it was not a great time to be forced to update. It also meant that I had to download all the music to the device that used to be there by burning data.

My biggest issue is THIS: The new app, though it looks great, does NOT show up under "devices" of my desktop application, meaning my local music files are not being synced to the phone.

AND YES - I saw the help section article, I am on the same wifi network, restarted the phone, PC, checked Upnp etc, I even reinstalled spotify - which means I have to download more music to make it available offline.

Thanks for this amazing app update. Fix it please, or I will have to cancel my subscription.

Roll back to 1.8.0 and you'll be good.
