I suggest you contact support so they can take a look at your account and see what is going on:

https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-support/

I recently got a new phone and tried to download my play lists. It lets me download everything, and then the next time I go to open the app it says it will need to delete everything because i have reached the maximum allowed devices.

I have logged in and click "remove all synced devices" and "log out everywhere" several times... each time the same issue happens.

I have tried clean installs and repeated downloads.

How is there now support directly from spotify....? I am going to have to cancel my account if this cannot be resolved.

Can someone please tell me how I can contact spotify support directly? There is no way to do it other than community forums. I do not see how that is acceptable when you pay monthly for a product..
