Android playlist, art, playback issues

Hi,

I love Spotify; I really do. However, I've been trying to cope with an endless stream of problems from the Android app. I've been suffering from the disappearing download problem for weeks now. I've tried all that I can.

I spent hours putting together one hellacious playlist for a snowboard trip. At first my playlist decided to "undownload" itself before I disembarked. It was redownloaded and three quarters to half of the 80 or so tracks worked alright. I say "alright" because some would stop half way through. I attemped to download them again via cell tower and proceeded to my destination. Long story short, I had my Jam box connected, got lift tickets, rode the lift to the summit with some buds, and then come to find out that the app boned me yet again--but this time left me with only two working tracks. I'll leave you to imagine how pissed off that would leave anyone. I've commited something like 20Gb of my data plan downloading the same damned tracks over and over.

I'm asking for some last ditch effort of help before I just give in and revoke my subscription. I have a Galaxy Note 2 running the lastest version as of this post. This problem just recently started something like two weeks ago. It happened intermittently as I had a legacy version (exact version unk., white background GUI). After switching to the most recent, it happens without fail. Your help is much appreciated

You may have already tried an uninstall/re-install. But can you try again following the steps in the guide below and making sure to do exactly as requested. Make sure to Reboot after removing any remaining folders.
